The Reconstructionist Press is a Jewish bookseller: Please note that we close early on Friday afternoons, so if you have an immediate need, please contact us before Friday afternoon. Shabbat may affect your shipping and processing time. We also close for many Jewish holidays, but we will announce those days beforehand on our website. It may just take an extra day or two to process your order when you order on a holiday. Since several of our books are important for Jewish holidays, we always ship those orders ASAP when close to a holiday. Know that we take utmost care in making sure that you have the books you need on the holiday. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Prices: The Reconstructionist Press is part of the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, a nonprofit organization that supports the Reconstructionist Movement. We may increase prices if our shipping and printing costs rise. We allow a 20% discount for individual members and affiliate congregations and their members of JRF.

Shipping & Handling Policy: For the 1st item we charge $6 S & H and $1 per additional item. If you need an expedited shipping time on your order, call Beverly Vitek at 215-885-5601 x28 between the hours of 9-2, or email her at bvitek@jrf.org.

Shipping Tracking: For most individual orders, tracking will not be available. If you are ordering a quanity of books and wish to have a tracking number, please contact press@jrf.org.

Order Processing: JRF will process and ship your order in 1-3 business days. Domestic shipping can take 3-10 business days.  All of our orders ship from outside of Philadelphia, PA so it may take a few more days to reach other parts of the US. If you are ordering from outside of the US, expect a longer shipping time than for domestic orders.

International Shipping: It is hard to estimate the cost of shipping our books internationally USPS, so if you are not a US customer, please have patience. Once you order, the Recon Press will contact you with details on the cost. Once you OK the price, we will ship your order. If you do not respond to the email, we will not send your order until you do.
